2008 Olympics - NBC Schedule of Events and Competitions

The 2008 Beijing Olympics kick off in nine days, so I'm sure you're wondering when your favorite event or competition will take place.

You can view a calendar of the days on which various sports will have their competitions at NBCOlympics.com. You will note that the soccer events actually begin two days prior to the Opening Ceremony (i.e., on August 6, 2008).

While you're at the site, visit the TV & Online Listings to see when events will be broadcast in your area. In fact, why not check out the whole NBC Olympics Website? It's an excellent website, and one that we will all be consulting frequently over the next few weeks.

I was impressed to see that they already have a biography of Raj Bhavsar on the Men's Gymnastics page. Bhavsar was an alternate until Paul Hamm withdrew earlier this week. Did you know Bhavsar was an alternate in the 2004 games, too? I'm glad he's finally getting his shot at the gold.
