The Missourian reported that Ben Askren, "the No. 8 freestyle wrestler in the country at 74 kg/ 163 pounds" is preparing to compete for a spot on Team U.S.A.
Askren is training with Plamen Paskalev, a former Bulgarian Olympian.
He will compete in the June 2008 U.S. Wrestling Trials in Las Vegas.
