INTERVIEW: Cyclist David Zabriskie Says Olympics Helped Him Cope with May Defeat

In May 2008, cyclist Dave Zabriskie suffered an unfortunate loss when he crashed in the Giro d'Italia. Not only did he drop out of the race as a result, but he also injured a vertebrae.

How did he deal with the accident? In a recent interview posted at Bikeradar.com, he answers:

I just looked forward to the next most important thing to me and that is the Olympics.

In Beijing, Zabriskie will be riding for Team USA. Let's hope he is fully recovered and back in record-setting form.
