Despite losing in the NBA Finals this year, Kobe Bryant is looking to regain his pride by winning gold in the Beijing Olympics:
"I think winning a gold medal is more important because you're playing for your country... You're not playing for a region or a state or a brand. You are playing for the United States of America."
Kobe is clearly glad to be representing his country. He's probably also glad that he won't be facing the Celtics in Beijing.
